Hello.

Just to add on to CG's post, the ring is not damn cold. Its actually okay if you don't bring jacket :D but please bring gloves! and when I went there last time, the fee was $16-17, fyi.
Yep, ok. See you guys tomorrow!

-andreea

this is CG, sry i had to add to andy's post coz i dont wan my details post to be pushed down too much. The place might be cold to some individuals, yes for tat, i exaggerated a bit. myself did not nid to use a jacket but i'm sure some others will. i'm a very economical person and i will try to minimise every1's budget. I've brought some extra gloves as I predict tat some of u dont hav gloves and i dun wan u guys go buy their lousy glove for $1.50. it'll be cheaper than wat andy said, provided u hav ur student EZlink card, ur own socks and gloves. It'll be around $14 for tat case. trust me =)

And the reason we are going there so early as some of u might ask, is tat im afraid ppl wan to play bowling first and bowling at Kallang Leisure becomes very expensive in the afternoon. So if we'r bowling, we'll do it b4 12 noon.

Lastly, as Mr Fadhir will be busy in the moring (he'll be done at 1030), he can only meet us later, when we'r in the midst of some activity. regarding wat activities should be done first, we'll decide together tmr. Also, i'm passing u guys the CD tmr. We should end in Kallang Leisure at ard 2pm and be in jq's house b4 3pm (for those who are going).

CG

PS: u either bring phone or u be damn punctual coz if u are not, and u dun hav a phone, it will be very difficult for me. see all of u guys punctually at 10am at EW10 Kallang. TYVM!

And i really hav to say thank you to JQ who is hosting us for the 4th time in the 2 years.

Push this down by 1 post

Hi. I had literally lost contact with the world for the past two days coz I was on this 40hours train journey from GuangZhou to ChengDu. Those of you who throught that I did not reply to the class outing thingy have not read my tag. I had said that I could not go if it's after 21/11/09.
I'm really pissed off with the ccp and all the great firewall sh*t. If you happen to be China now and wants to use Blogspot, go to http://web.sunsen.net/. The only disadvangtage is that it bounces an Asianfriendsfinder advert everytime you go to a website.

THE OUTING (Finalised) and some miscellaneous

Dear class,

1. I hope that you all can now view the montage from the blog. I've uploaded it onto the previous post I made. Though, the quality is compromised due to limited capacity for upload.

2. However, I've found enough CD and I will burn a copy of the montage of the best quality for everyone. This copy of the montage inside the CD is around 120MB. I will pass them to you people the next time i see you. (I do not have CD cases or paper holders, I can only pass you the piece of disc itself)

3. The number of people going for the outing is finalised.

People who cannot attend (9):
Khairul, Faiz, Pari, Kelvin, Wang Bo (Overseas)
Nicholas, Justin (Tuition)
Arif (Family outing)

Angela (Dental Appointment)

People who can attend (16):
Aristotle, Chen Ge, Andreea, Jean, Wei Shuen, Jun Fu, Kuo Xuan, Isaac, Brendan, Abdur, Andrew, Zheyu, Joshua, Audrey, Jun Qi (I'll be playing mahjong only), Mr Fadhir (I'll try my best to find time to attend)

People who did not reply (1):
Marcus

4. Now, the details are as follows (based on the final result of the poll):
All to meet at Kallang MRT station at 10.00am. We'll take BUS 11 to Kallang Leisure Park.
Prepare sufficient amount in your EZlink and bring a pair of gloves for the ice skate, if not you'll have to buy a pair at $1.50. Keep in contact by bringing your handphone along (PLS!!) For those going for ice skate bring a coat as it is damn cold inside. Bring around $25 for budget and if your stomach is as big as WS's bring more. Due to the recent bad weather, an umbrella is encouraged.

Activities cancelled:
Paintball, Karaoke (Too expensive and is inconvenient in certain ways)

For those who are going to JQ's house, you can play wii, xbox, table tennis, or mahjong (oops, i'm speaking for her). But please do not mess up her place and have everything back orderly after use. JQ isn't helping us to set up so many things if not she'll be hell busy.

OK, so, ice skate, arcade, bowling and movie. we'll have to choose 2 out of this. I'm not finalising this part yet as this can be further confirmed tomorrow. (People may change their minds according to situations) Anyway, the bowling centre, the arcade, the cinema and ice skate are all available at Kallang Leisure. There is no harm that we decide tomorrow after meet up.

That is all, see all of you guys tomorrow.

PS: you can still click on the Results Button inside the poll to look at the newest results. Thanks to all the 109 votes.

Class outing in 1st week of holiday

Dear class,

This post addresses the probably last class outing we are going to have.

I have discussed with JQ, we can go her house on next tues, 24 Nov. At first, i wanted to cook some Szechuan dishes at her house and invite all of u to go eat. Later, i realised tat buying the materials, costs and time were all issues hard to resolve. I think eating isn't a very important thing for us as a class, and fun seems more important. I then gaved up the idea of cooking, so we can hav more time to play or to do some other activities, together.

The following are activities suggested:

1. Mahjong (At JQ's house)
2. Arcade
3. Bowling
4. Karaoke
5. Movie
6. Ice-skate
7. Paintball
8. Table Tennis (At JQ's house)

Pls note that we are definitely doing more than 1 of the above. Again, pls vote your choice(s) at the cBox in the blog. I really hope that most of us can attend this time, after all we might not hold another class outing ever. Paintball needs parental consent. Kallang leisure park has arcade, cinema, kBox, ice-skate and bowling centre.

If we just eat at some place together and i dont cook at JQ's house, i can save the cooking time in the morning for some activities. (Actually im afraid that i will make a mess in her house and she becomes damn pissed at me) In the afternoon, we can go JQ's house to play mahjong. I actually wanted Ice-skate the most, coz the rest of the list we have either tried out before or aren't popular choices. Ok, guys, i juz nid your replies now. NOTE THAT THIS MIGHT BE THE LAST POSSIBLE OUTING.

Reply me through whatever ways.

Thank you.

CG

PS: Or u can vote here.

What activities would you prefer for the class outing?
Table Tennis (JQ's place)
Mahjong (JQ's place)
Ice skate (Kallang Leisure)
Movie
Karaoke
Arcade
Bowling (Kallang Leisure)
Paintball (Needs parental consent)
ugg boots uk

My goodbye.

Finally I'm getting down to writing a proper post rather than all my mini-posts. well not exactly but I don't care.

Here goes... fingers, stop shaking.

We've been an awesome class over the last 2 years, no?
They've passed so quickly...
We might have fought, perhaps we still are, but I'm sure everyone gets over things in the end. I know, for one, that our class has had many fights and so on. not just one person.

I don't care what happened, i don't care what's going to happen. I've only got like, 4 days left with 202 as a class, and i want to remember it.

Yes, 4 days. don't ask.

It's been an awesome 2 years, filled with tears (yes, you read that right, too), happiness, stupidity, secrets, suffering, and this list could go on till i exhaust my fingers and i still probably would have more..

I don't care if class outings fail. I don't care if the chalet epic fails (though i would dearly love it doesn't). I don't care what happens out of class much more. All i want is a day more as 202.

The simplest things in life can be the best-est.

Our impromptu class outing today was one example. Sometimes, you search far for awesome things, only to find they're with you all the time.

I'm probably gonna cry like crap on the last day of school, but i just have one more hope for this year, that the montage be completed, and not shoddily done. Memories i can keep.

Like, you remember? We used to sit by those tubes in the concourse...

We used to, and still, regularly have the stupidest ideas in the whole of year2.

We used to joke about so many things.... We would shout random stuff and teachers would give us confused looks... Dinosaurs, Sunshine, Ismism, Flying Spaghetti Monsters, Cows, and the list goes on...

We used to eat together, laughing madly and hysterically at stupid memories of each other, and our friends.

We did the MASSDANCE! i still have the song for it...

To tell the truth, when i first came to NUSH, i hated it. Don't know how many of you noticed, but i was on the verge of tears on the first day.

Now i can't even bear to leave my class.

I know i'll get used to my new class, find things to call awesome about it, but i know it'll never really replace M08102.

I know, it's not the end of the world, i know, i still can meet you all in other classes. But knowing that doesn't make me feel any better.

So here's to my first two years in secondary school, and all my memories. happy ones, sad ones, ones that made me high, ones that made me cry.

(i'm tearing as i type this already.)

Goodbye, M08102. Hopefully my next class can be as awesome as you all, and yet it won't take the place of us in my memories.

~jAcK, a.k.a.
zAK

(for those curious why this is written as if it wasn't the last day of school, i wrote it on 13/11/09, then saved it but didn't post it. mainly because i know i'll be crying too much to think straight on Friday.)

(I'm writing this on Thursday.)
it's the second last day, and already I know that we can't have a class chalet anyway. But I don't care, cuz I've had the time of my life this week, with you guys. It could have been much more awesome, but I'm already happy beyond words.

Tomorow khairul and faiz are leaving for home. Oh well....

Goodbye, adios, sayonara, caio, zaizian, CUL8TR, whatever language you speak.
In less than 24 hours we won't have 202 as a class any more. I'm gonna enjoy every freaking second I have, not be sad over those times where shitzx failed.

zAK.

Look, i want to make this short cuz i don't want the previous post to be pushed down too much.

all i want to say is, please, cant you guys come for the class chalet?
i don't want our last memories as a awesome, crazy, fun-loving class to be in freaking UNIFORM. who wants THAT, man.
all i'm asking for is that you come. be yourself. be happy. please?
i'll get down on my knees if i have to beg you to come.

so. please.

Class chalet seems impossible if no one is willing to pay.
It's going to cost a lot per person if you include meals/bbq/activities and I know all you guiez think that money is so dam precious you can't spend it on a bonding activity and I can't be damned too.

Charlet

Sorry for pushing down Izak's post
I have never organized any event that involves more than 2 people. I think there's a need to organize a 'This-Is-It' outing which can help us remember our time together as a class.
I have found an article about the benefits of school/class excursions

' Many of the benefits of school excursion on the large side, the promotion of cultural exchanges between local and foreign education, promoting the understanding of Eastern and Western countries, enhancing friendship and cooperation between the future of the West; the schools, the expansion of the school's foreign exchange , many schools looking for foreign sister schools, international relations, the establishment of the introduction of foreign teachers are all starting from the study tours start; in respect of students involved in this activity, there are the following points: broadened horizons, tempered self-care capacity, improve foreign language proficiency and train an independent consciousness, awareness and patriotism, collectivism, consciousness, lay the foundation for future study. School excursion is a quality education "booster": students and teachers to participate in school excursion to experience the foreign advanced teaching philosophy, methods and contents to promote quality education in schools and teaching reforms. ; School excursion in life design "incubator": school excursion experience of the design may change your life and will have a major impact on the future development; school excursion is to rebuild the confidence of foreign language learning "stimulant": a new foreign language learning ways to stimulate interest in learning foreign languages, rebuilding the confidence of foreign language learning, rapid increase in foreign language proficiency; school excursion is to foster international talents of "catalyst" for school excursion extends the international perspective to develop an international awareness, also increased cross-cultural the ability to understand the communication problems; school excursion or a visa credit "savings card" for the next school excursion interested in study abroad, employment development, students have accumulated a personal visa credit. '

Wait, this is not even relevant!

Anyways I support the charlet idea but there could always be other choices?
Let's do a voting in class after the scripts checking (voting in this blog is virtually pointless)
I suggest other activities such as:

camping near reservior so that we can go for canoeing
pular ubin
Pulau Semakau (this will be excellent if we can arrange it) link:
http://www.wildsingapore.com/places/semakau.htm

Please, let's update the infos on this blog as at least this is the only source of infomation I have on this kind of things.

Thanks, who's interested? please tag. Thanks

Thanks, wb

Class Outing on Mon 9 Nov

So, about the class outing today.

Originally (starting Friday/Saturday) I had planned to have a laserquest outing on Monday, and Isaac, Kelvin, Khairul and I from 202 along with Ahmad and Yexuan from 201 were going to come; then we got word on Sunday that Mr. Fadhir was organizing a separate outing, with Andrew, Justin, Chen Ge and Arif coming (plus him). Then when Mr. Fadhir found out about my
outing, he proposed a merger (late at night XD) between the two, so we got everyone to agree, working together and without messing up for once (mostly). We managed to hammer down the meeting place, time, itinerary, etc.

So everyone except Mr. Fadhir (lessons) met at Bukit Gombak and even though Arif and Isaac were late, they managed to get to the Laserquest place to play. No screw-ups, no fails:
just win, and awesome fun . It was expensive, but worth every cent I'd say.
So we played for one epic hour of win and trudged out all sweaty, exhausted but happy. Apparently I was first but everyone's scoresheet ended up being messed up with horrible subtraction, and Ahmad beat me by a close margin. *shakes fist*
Anyway, after that we went to Raffles Place (meeting Mr. Fadhir at Jurong East
MRT) and then went to McDonalds (Ahmad, Khairul and Yexuan went to Burger King and Mr. Fadhir and CG went to Yoshinoya), where we had lunch and then waited out the rain by playing truth-or-dare (well what do you expect?). Unfortunately at that point I had to go home, so that ended my part in the mini-outing, at around 4.30pm.
So, no... it didn't fail. We didn't manage to go to Settler's
Cafe I think (dunno if the others went in the end, but I don't think so), but we sure did manage to have an epic time at laserquest and that activity called "random-talking-and-having-fun".
In fact it was WIN.
Since this is the first outing I kinda-organized-kinda-led (with credit to Mr. Fadhir and the others), I'm pretty happy with the results

Class Photo Montage

I have sent out emails to everyone about the photo montage. Pls check your sch email for details. Junfu and Joshua, pls clear your mailbox and I do not want anymore bounce-backs the next time i send the mail, which is going to be tmr night.

btw, though i seem busy most of the time, i will have time here and there to read the class blog
zak, do not say things like: "cg, if u ever read this blog."
ok??
it hurts, it tears, it burns.
anw, though we dont have class chalets/jackets/shirts, doesn mean our class spirit loses out to the others. we may juz not prefer this kinda way to express our love for the class. care, isn always expressed verbally, zak.

Also, i may not appear to you that im doing the montage, but planning takes time as well. if only u noe the things that i do at home, well i wish u dont... it is scary, tiring, compulsive...

btw, my severe OCD is reduced to a moderate extent now, i think.

hey, i realised i think in 2nd person pov sometimes. and the alumni outing idea is awesome! =)

hope tat everyone can score wat they want in the exam.

Alumni Party

How about we arrange an alumni party ten or twenty years from now? At that time most of us would have been working and even married(Wei Shuen). Shall we find out who will be the failure or success in life? (well it doesn't matter anyways)

Or maybe you don't want to have it with this class and you want the year 5-6 class instead?

Now exams are over for the most you. I will have to blog everyday is possible to reach the 202th post.

But then again, what is the point?

Don't know, don't ask and don't snatch the 202th from me!
